I love Paris...almost any time

Weather like this makes me miss Paris. Wet weather, coats, black clothes, berets and boots, remind me of dashing into a slightly musty, warm coffee cafe. Getting out the grey, drizzly day, seeking shelter in the quasi warmth of all things francais. Book in hand, bag filled with all the things you need for the day, so you don't have to trek all the way back home just for the night out. This weather reminds me of great coffee, croissants that melt in your mouth and a pain au chocolat that makes you definitely want to order another. But you surely will banish the thought of another, looking at all the deathly thin french women around you still gives you a "I wanna be even VAGUELY skinny freak out". Paris is the city of lights, not love! I have to make that clear, but Paris has a special place in my heart.Though it broke my heart in many ways, it opened my heart in so many more.

Love books

Don't know if it's the weather or the fact that I just love books, but a book shelf definitely is my ultimate maison accessory! Dream shelves I am a-searching! Watch this space to see my finds! But a boy who'd build me one is a definite keeper! #justsaying

Naked boys are still scary

I'm older, hoping  a little wiser, but the thought of a naked man is really scary. Having this conversation this morning with my gorgeous colleague (add happy reason to come to work here) and I was like eek! Not a mental picture that goes well with oats and prunes!(hihi)

Topless men, with great bodies, okay. But really not into all that gratuitous chest flesh on display stuff anyway! But naked glory, all dangly bits on display, save that for special times with special people, where it's still a little scary, but you're willing to face the fear.
